Lost in translation...

My boys have this little plastic knight's helmet. They've had it since, well, Wolf had it before I met him, so for a very long time. It is much-loved and often-worn.

The other day I just happened to notice there was some raised writing inside of it:

"CAUTION
THE SIMULATED PROTECTIVE DEVICE WAS NOT SAFETY DEVICE AND OFFERED NO PROTECTION"

"MADE IN CHINA"
[of course]

I love those. We bought some RC super car they were selling at the mall for M's birthday one year. I swear we had more fun reading the instruction book than he did playing with the car.

Oh yes, being in South Korea was fun because of this. Some of the English translations were interesting to read. I can remember a pan with instructions that made absolutely NO sense. I mean, we could not figure out at all what it was saying.

There's a cup we used in the apartment that was funny to read too because of the grammar.

LOL! Good thing you didn't use that simulated protective device in a real battle huh?! ;)
