Look at that! Not even a mess! (Yet??) :) What a big boy you've got on your hands, there.
I wanted to reply to your comment on my most recent post, and I *still* don't have an email for you! Ack! Anyway... I am not sure if I knew that you were homeschooled. I knew you were pro-homeschool, of course. Idealistically, so am I, but realistically, it's very very new to me, so one baby step at a time. I've been looking at the Oak Meadow curriculum, and I think I like the way it works and the basic philosophy. If there's something along those lines you could recommend that I check out, I'd love to hear it.
As for changing how your comments read in your blog, it took me a minute to remember where to find that. If you go to edit your layout, and the default page of Page Elements, you'll see a (rather empty) box for Blog Posts. Click the edit link at the bottom corner of that box, and you'll be taken to a new list of options. You should be able to figure it out from there - just change "comments" to whatever you want. Have fun!
Thanks for stopping over at Bubba Bubbles...and for your advice! You're preaching to the choir, Sister Brighton (just a guess...but David O. McKay? I'm assuming you're LDS. ;-)). There shall be no circumsising in Casa LoLo. There are so many arguments for and against...and it just comes down to personal preference...and whatever your in-laws decided to do!
Oh,that's when it gets fun! (And messy). Although my nephew was so stubborn we couldn't get him to eat anything if he was in his highchair. But he was sooooo ridiculously messy (think WWIII with food splatted on any wall or person within 10 feet) we hoped the highchair might help contain it. It didn't. A year later it's only just beginning to get a litter better and we don't all have to take showers after a dinner with T.
Thanks for the note. (I don't have an e-mail for you- sorry!) I went to mormonmommyblogs.blogspot.com..and then remembered that I'm a member there! I'm under Slice of Life. Thanks for the heads up...I'll be perusing there for new blogs to lurk...er, read!
He actually does NOT get that messy. I have never seen such a careful eater at such a young age. He has never liked eating with his fingers--always insisting that I give him a fork. He stabs the food and puts it directly in his mouth. Sure, a little gets smeared on his face, and some drips in his lap...but those pictures you always see with macaroni in their hair and applesauce in their eyebrows? Nope. not this kid. He also hates his bibs...so I'm very grateful he's such a careful eater!

They grow up so fast don't they??? He's a cute one though!
As much as I love meal time as a family, there are some days that I am SO glad my son is becoming more and more capable of helping himself. :)
