It was only 4 days, but he needed 2 days on either end for travel, plus he added a day on either end for job-contacting, plus he had to leave a day early because of weather issues (there was no plane on the day he'd originally planned to fly out)
4 day conference = gone 11 days. It's just the reality of living in Pelican. Apparently out on the Aleutian chain it's worse.Jennihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01279308378287322473noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5551466722529127235.post-7441975964544774182009-02-24T09:34:00.000-09:002009-02-24T09:34:00.000-09:00Too cute! I was wondering where you were ...What a cute story. I was wondering where you were going with that title!! :D

My daughter ate snow for a while. She still sometimes can't resist a handful. But she's not nearly as bad as her brother, who walks around sucking on snow in his mitten the entire time we're outside. No amount of begging and pleading can get him to stop. Which is disturbing when he picks up a handful out of the barely-covered parking lot and other such undesirable locations.

I wish we had more wilderness-available snowdrifts.Becky N.https://www.blogger.com/profile/08189400116228254926noreply@blogger.com
