...one of these days I really want to meet some of these people who comment on my blog all the time, and those whose blogs I read.
Or the people with whom I so often chat (and feel I know so well) in forums or email groups.
My husband doesn't make fun of me for having more friends online than in person--after all, we met online!
But it would be nice to meet you all in person anyway...just because, well, it's more personal.
So who wants to take a vacation to Alaska in 2010?! We've got world-class fishing, spectacular views, and me!!
I would LOVE to! I'm not such a fisherwoman, but I think Alaska is beautiful. And I have family there. Hmmm I wonder....
ReplyDeleteME!!!! I wanna take a vacation to Alaska next year!!!! I bet I could get my hubby in on it, too. He would LOVE to go to Alaska. Now...how to get the money to make it there...
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean. I know it is nice to have friends in real life. And you don't have to agree on everything to be friends. But online, there are so many people who have the same type of lifestyle that I love/want. It would be nice to have to kind of support in real life!
(I really do want to go to Alaska!)
I would give my eye teeth to come to Alaska!

ReplyDeleteIt would be nice to get to meet in person... your awesome online but I can only imagine how much more awesome you are in rl!! =)Merry Christmas to you!!! =)
Me too! I mean, I want to meet people in person, not come to Alaska. Been there, done that. Or more accurately, am there, doing that. :)
ReplyDeleteMaybe someday...
Jess--we got hookups...not free, but there are lots in town LOL
ReplyDeleteBecky--It's only a 4 hr drive...come on down for a weekend!!
You know I would love to, but the cold is just not my thing. If you ever visit her though, I will show you a Pennsylvania "Dutch" good time that you will never forget!
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to go to Alaska. It's probably one of the many reasons I read your blog (aside from your great posts about stuff i'm interested in, etc) I'm living vicariously through you!
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way about people I have met online.
ReplyDeleteI would love to come to Alaska and say hello.
You could also come on down to Arizona and get warm.
We've been planning to go to Alaska for several years now, but if we can afford a trip next summer, it's to Utah we go, to visit my 92 year old grandma who doesn't have much time left I fear.
ReplyDeleteWe'd actually love to MOVE to Alaska. The salmon fishing is better there than in Washington, and hubby is HUGE on salmon fishing. And the hunting is undoubtedly better as well. He just needs a career up there!
