I have three slings of my own actually, and I don't need another, but I thought it would be fun to play along (and I know of a great place where I could donate it if I win).
Without further ado, my favorite babywearing photos (clicking on the photo will take you to the post where I originally posted it)
wear baby, go cool places!
(try to use stroller, get stuck in mud on steep, narrow trail and never make it up to beautiful Payto Lake in Banff National Park!)

We were kangaroos for his first halloween!
(now I'm trying to think of other pouch animals for future costumes--leave me your suggestions if you've got any!)

I love the costume!!! What is the back carrier you are using? I want to try one but not sure what kinds are worth the money. I've been looking at ergos and baby hawks. What do you like?

Here are a couple of my favorites of me and Elijah.
Miche, the back carrier is just a simple structured carrier I made myself...based on seeing one my friend had (which she also made herself)...I have no idea how similar (or not) it is with any purchased ones.
ReplyDeleteThe only purchased carrier I have is a mobywrap...everything else I have made myself. Sorry I'm really not any help with brand-reviews! (I love my moby!)
I have only ever heard positive things about the ergo, but no personal experience...
i love your pics! the kangaroo costume is adorable!!
ReplyDeletethanks for your comment on my babywearing post~ i posted a photo today of the baby carrier i was sewing while my little one was sleeping on my back :)

ReplyDeleteI think there's a picture of me nursing Rochelle (in a sling) while playing miniature golf floating around somewhere - I'd better go find it! ;oP

ReplyDeleteI LOVE that pic of you two as kangaroos!!! How cute is that?! His expression is just priceless!
ReplyDeleteNo pictures of me wearing him?
ReplyDeleteMr.B--we only even have one picture of you wearing him. :( You obviously need to wear him more!
ReplyDeleteMaybe YOU should post it on YOUR blog this week. :)
Beautiful, sweet photos!!
ReplyDeleteI really love the kangaroo idea! I was a little late to the party this year at Halloween -- a Mama-baby costume just never occured to me! :o)
ReplyDeleteBut I'm on it for next year! Thanks for the idea and pictures!
That is an awesome costume!!!!!! You guys look so cute. I found you from the link on adventures in babywearing. Koala bears are pouch animals, but it might be a hard costume to make. :)
